"Isn't it sad to go to your grave without ever wondering why you were born? Who, with such a thought, would not spring from bed, eager to resume discovering the world and rejoicing to be part of it?"
-Richard Dawkins, Unweaving the Rainbow
I was a Biology major and Geology minor (both at Bryn Mawr), and studied worms inhabiting hydrothermal vents in the biological oceanography lab of Dr. Stephen Gardiner at Bryn Mawr in 2008-2009.
I will be living (mostly) in Montreal for at least the next two years working towards a Master's (M.Sc.) degree at McGill University in Biology. I will be studying the neurobiology of cricket acoustic communication in the lab of Dr. Jerry Pollack.
Non-academic Interests: Outside of school, I enjoy a good lineout and maul on the rugby pitch, with the occasional skate on a frozen sheet of ice. I also enjoy a good outdoors trip, and would like to become more involved in theater and music.
