Hello!
I'm a junior at Haverford, from Shoreview, Minnesota (right outside of St. Paul), and I'm disappointed in the amount of snow and cold Haverford receives... though I appreciate the flowers on campus and have my share of driving in the snow stories.
I am a Chemistry major and Philosophy minor, and I hope to work in nanotechnology with application to alternative energy: an area that complements my general interest in how we relate to the world around us and how science affects that relationship. I'm also interested in structure and function (in general), the concept of individuality, and a liberal arts curriculum.
I am one of the Honor Council Co-Chairs for the 2010-2011 school year, one of the heads of Swing Dance Club, serving on Clearness Committee, and finishing up my role on HCO committee for the HCOs for 2014. I have also been an HCO for Gummere 3/2, Editor-at-Large and co-News Editor for the Bi-College News, and involved with various other things on this lovely campus.
