At Haverford, I like to think of myself as someone who is thoroughly involved with all aspects of campus life. Beyond my interests in Economics, English Literature, and French language, I am involved in a number of other organizations that fall into the extra-curricular realm. Athletically, I am a member of the Men's Fencing team and an active participant in Intramural Basketball (IBB for short). When not studying or playing, I can be found organizing on- and off-campus events as a member of the Fords Against Boredom (FAB) committee and as an intern in the Student Activities Office. When away from these official activities, I often spend time managing the Haverford Garden Initiative, a student-run gardening group I founded with two other students in Fall 2009, and working with the Committee on Environmental Responsibility -- both of which stem from my interest in environmentalism and food sustainability. Finally, in the summer time, I have spent time completing two internships with the Center for Peace and Global Citizenship and another in the Deans' Office.
Overall, I consider myself a hard-working, dedicated, and inquisitive individual. In the future, I hope to pursue work in one of a number of fields that interest me: business, economics, sustainability, and law.
