Item #1
The Haverford College Department of Public Safety would like to make you
aware of two separate attacks that occurred at Villanova University this
semester. On separate occasions, different female student residents reported
that a man assaulted them as they made their way across the campus.

One of the victims described her assailant as having extremely light-colored
eyes. Two of the women reported that the man had a couple of days beard
growth.
Villanova University's Department of Public Safety and Radnor police

Please be aware of your surroundings when walking on campus, and contact
Safety and Security with any questions or concerns.

Item #2
Two Villanova students were arrested for stealing computer related items
at State College this past week. The suspects, who were living at Harcum
College, admitted taking items from several area schools. A Dell flat-screen
monitor, an IBM think-pad, and a Haverford ID card are among the recovered
items taken from Haverford College. The suspects admitted coming to Haverford's
campus and looking for items left in the open. The allegedly shipped stolen
items to a contact in Wisconsin and another contact in Singapore for sale
there. The investigation is continuing.
Since the arrests, a student had a laptop taken from a carrel in the
Library after leaving it unattended for just a few minutes. There are
thieves who come to campus to look for targets of opportunity. Please
keep items of importance close at hand at all times.
Thanks!
