November 18:

Russia's intelligence services sent a group of "Serbian terrorists" to Chechnya several months ago, United Press International reports, citing Bosnian press reports based on "sources inside the government secret services of Bosnia-Herzegovina." The group was headed by Rajko Kusic, an associate of Radovan Karadzic and Ratko Mladic who allegedly played a prominent rule in ethnic cleansing in Bosnia and is wanted by the Hague War Crimes Tribunal for involvement in the murder of Bosnian Muslims.

Bosnian Islamic radio quotes sources saying Serb "terrorists" fight in Chechnya
Source: BBC MONITORING INTERNATIONAL REPORTS

Text of report aired on Bosnian private Islamic station Radio Naba web site on 4 February

[Announcer] While almost every Bosniak [Bosnian Muslim] in Bosnia who goes to the mosque is a potential terrorist and while many [Muslims] are under surveillance by various local as well as international services, Serbs are freely organizing terrorist camps around Bosnia, where they are freely trained and then go to sew terror in Chechnya. These same people had earlier gone to terrorize the people of Congo, which is proven by many pictures of Serb terrorists from that war.

Today, war criminals freely run terrorist camps in Bosnia and organize Chetnik [World War II Royalist movement] events, where they openly say that they will slit the throats of all Muslims and others. Of course, no-one is preventing them in this because they are not Muslim. When five Muslims go to a lake to have a swim, it is a problem. And when they [Serbs] conduct military manoeuvres, this attracts almost no comment at all. It is a fact that in Bosnia the least terror and problems come from believers. It is, however, also a fact that it is them - and not the Serb proven terrorists - that under closest surveillance by various curators of souls.

Several days ago, Kavkaz Centar, quoting Bosnian sources, published a report saying that a group of Serb terrorists, headed by war criminal Rajko Kusic, had been sent to Chechnya in cooperation with the Russian intelligence service. The US has confirmed the report as well. The Washington Times has written and the Bosnian press reported that a group of Serb terrorists, led by Rajko Kusic and sponsored by the Russian intelligence services, had gone to Chechnya several months ago.

Kusic is wanted by the Hague tribunal for his implication in massacres of Bosniaks-Muslims. He was one of those most responsible in the ethnic cleansing in Rogatica region. He had gained experience in fighting in Vukovar, Croatia, where he fought on the side of Chetniks. The [several words indistinct] report describes Kusic as a local leader and commander of [word indistinct] battalion of the Drina Corps 1st Brigade.
