In preparing its Commencement
Ceremony, the College will, as a matter of course, invite your parents.
If your parents do not live together, or if you have more than one set of
parents, we will send separate invitations to them all. Families often move over the years, and
students sometimes fail to inform the Registrar of their new address. Letters and invitations are frequently
returned as undeliverable, and once we have discovered the error, it is
generally too late to correct it.
This can cause real unhappiness.
