Six Haverfordians to Receive Honorary Degrees;
On-Campus Academic Convocation Marks End of Campaign
On Saturday, Dec. 4, Haverford College
will honor six distinguished members of the College community
at an all-campus academic convocation. The convocation will
take place at 10 a.m. in Roberts Hall.
Haverfordians to be honored are:
Ellsworth C. (Buster) Alvord,
Jr. '44, neuropathologist and scientist. Nicholson Baker '79, novelist and writer. James Clifford '67, professor of history of
consciousness. Mary Esther Dasenbrock '45, Haverford R&R
program. Veronica (Ronnie) Stinnes Peterson FR, pediatrician. Benn C. Sah '62, physician.
