This page is intended to provide access to the forms used to submit data, to
allow one-click access to the raw data collected, and to facilitate easy upload
of the data to Excel or a statistics package. I hope these data will form part
of a larger study of Internet use in Morocco, and they also illustrate the interactive
Web survey technology of which I have spoken at RAS.
Please address any suggestions or reactions to Prof. Douglas Davis (ddavis@haverford.edu)
or to Garland Green (ggreen@ras.edu.ac.ma).
The Survey. The RAS computer survey is at this URL: www.haverford.edu/psych/ddavis/webforms/ras.02.q2.html
and may be loaded by clicking here.
Data Access. To view the raw data on the Haverford Gather server, click here. The browser screen will display the responses in a read-only spreadsheet format. To load the data in Excel format click here and use the web browser's "File, Save As" menu and select "Microsoft Excel Workbook" as the file type from the pull-down menu. Excel can then be used to chart and statistically represent the data. (I will be preparing detailed instructions on how to do this with a sample data file when I return to the US and get back to work on my Haverford laboratory course webpage.)
The Gather Tool. The Haverford College data-gathering tool is fully described, with sample forms for collecting data, at www2.haverford.edu/acc/webdev/gather/datacollection.html (click here).
