My So-Called Ego: Examples for Analysis

For class Tuesday, 9/14, I’d like each of you come up with an example of one of Erikson's "epigenetic" ego stages illustrated illustrated by a moment in one of the available reserve episodes of "My So-Called Life" or one of the linked scripts. A short paragraph is fine, and you may either post your suggestion to this group or send it to me as email. I'm especially interested in ways Angela or one of the other characters can be seen as dealing with a problem that in some way anticipates or recalls another stage than that of "Identity vs. Role Confusion."
