Dual Career Resources

Haverford recognized the special challenges facing dual career couples with academic careers. Haverford is a member of the Higher Education Research Consortium, a resource for dual career couples working in academia and the nonprofit sector.

Tuition Grant Program for Dependents & Spouses

Dependents

Haverford provides faculty members, employed at the College for at least seven years, the benefit of a college tuition grant program for dependents under the age of 25 who are enrolled full time in an associate or bachelor’s degree program. Under most circumstances the benefit covers either 50% of the current cost of tuition at Haverford or at the attending institution. Spouses

Spouses and domestic partners are eligible to take one course per semester at Haverford, either as auditors or for credit. Please see the Faculty Handbook for further details and stipulations.

Summer at Haverford

Summer at Haverford provides many opportunities for children and teens to participate in various programming on campus.

Kindergarten at Haverford

Phebe Anna Thorne School at Bryn Mawr and Kindergarten at Haverford has locations on both college campuses. Programs are offered for children two years through kindergarten age. Faculty interested should explore the website for further details.

Family Friendly Events
