Provost
The Provost is the chief academic officer of the College, with oversight of the Faculty, the curriculum, general education, faculty research, the three Academic Centers, the Library, and all other academic and instructional support services. The Provost is a member of Academic Council, and is an ex-officio member of the Educational Policy Committee, the Administrative Advisory Committee, the Faculty Affairs and Policy Committee, and the Two-College Committee on Academic Cooperation.

Associate Provost
The Associate Provost, designated by the Provost, assumes a set of responsibilities specified by mutual agreement with the Provost. Certain duties regularly fall under the purview of the Associate Provost, such as allocating research and travel funds to faculty members; hiring and review of interim short term faculty; administrative oversight to the presenters in faculty personnel cases; and serving as the authorized institutional representative on extramural grants.
