Available Faculty Positions: Part-Time Postdoctoral Teaching Fellow in Chemistry
Haverford College invites applications for a part-time postdoctoral teaching fellow to co-teach and advanced instructional lab class for fall semester 2013.
The Chemistry Department (http://www.haverford.edu/chemistry/) looks for a part-time postdoctoral teaching fellow to co-teach an advanced instructional lab class for Fall semester 2013. The candidate would work alongside an experienced faculty member on lab rotation projects, ranging from organic synthesis to physical chemistry, with a final independent project designed by students. The position includes the supervision of labs two afternoons per week, designing problem sets, ordering chemicals and grading lab reports. The candidate must have a strong and broad foundation in chemistry and a commitment to teaching undergraduate students the techniques of chemical research.
