The Department of Psychology at Haverford College seeks applicants for a full-time, one-year, Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology, starting in the fall semester of 2013. Women and members of underrepresented minority groups are especially encouraged to apply. Teaching responsibilities consist of 5 courses in total, including two sections of introductory psychology and three courses in the candidate’s area(s) of expertise. The position is open area, with preference given to candidates whose teaching qualifications complement our faculty (e.g., areas not covered such as developmental, health, personality, industrial/organizational, etc.). The successful candidate will demonstrate readiness to teach a diverse student body. Completion of the Ph.D. is expected by July 2013.
