Haverford College invites applications for a visiting assistant professor for the academic year 2013-2014, with the possibility of a second year contract contingent on successful candidate review
The Department of Philosophy at Haverford College seeks a visiting assistant professor for the academic year 2013-2014, with a second year contingent on successful candidate review. Women and members of underrepresented minority groups are especially encouraged to apply. AOS: Open (except Ancient Philosophy); must be able to teach a historically oriented introduction to philosophy. Teaching load is 3/2 including intermediate and upper-division courses in candidate’s AOS. Preference given to candidates who demonstrate success at undergraduate teaching, including the ability to teach a diverse student body.
