Available Faculty Positions: Assistant Professor of Political Science
Haverford College seeks outstanding candidates for a tenure-track position in the Political Science Department at the rank of Assistant Professor in American Politics.
We seek an Americanist whose expertise centers on national political institutions and who employs quantitative methods as part of his or her research and teaching program. While the field of specialization is open, we are especially interested in candidates whose research and teaching interests focus on the Congress and the Presidency. Candidates with research and teaching interests in public policy, the bureaucracy, and/or American political development would also be desirable. The position begins in fall 2010 and the Ph.D. must be completed by the time of the appointment.
