ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF ECONOMICS

Haverford College invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in the Economics Department at the beginning or advanced Assistant Professor level. Areas of interest include financial economics, public finance, industrial organization, international economics and environmental economics; excellent applicants from other specializations are welcomed. Applicants should have strong and promising research agendas and evidence of successful undergraduate teaching. Completed applications will include a CV with cover letter; a statement of teaching experience and interests; evidence of scholarship such as copies of recent publications; and three letters of recommendation. Candidates should have completed PhD requirements by September 2008. The deadline for application is November 30, 2007.
