ANTHROPOLOGY

The Department of Anthropology at Haverford College seeks to fill a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level in socio-cultural anthropology, with a focus on human rights. Non-exclusive areas of research include conflict and trauma, environmental justice, and social medicine. The successful applicant will have completed the Ph.D. by September 1, 2008, and is able to contribute both to the core Anthropology curriculum as well as to Haverford’s program in Peace and Conflict Studies. The appointee is expected to maintain an active research program and to teach at all levels of the undergraduate curriculum.
