Comments: A superball is dropped down the tube; it bounces and rebounces to slightly below the top of the tube. The same effect is demonstrated with a ping pong ball. Then the ping pong ball is held on top of the superball and will shoot out well above the top of the tube. Using three balls (heavy, light and lighter) will have an even more dramatic effect.

Equipment: Plexiglass Tube, Superball (heavy), Ping Pong Ball (light)

Location: 108B I2
