  Professor of Philosophy Kathleen Wright presented a paper called “Gadamer on ‘Broadening the Way’ to Chinese Philosophy”
  The paper was presented at the International Symposium on Phenomenology and Hermeneutics, hosted by the Husserl Archives at Alberts-Ludwig-University of Freiburg, Germany, July 3-5.
• Two Philosophy Majors Awarded CPGC Internships
  The following philosophy majors will spend their summer interning via the Center for Peace and Global Citizenship.

  Joel Yurdin Joins Faculty as Assistant Professor of Philosophy
  With a research focus on Greek philosophy, Yurdin helps students find contemporary relevance in the writings of Socrates, Plato and Aristotle.

  Jill Stauffer joins Haverford Faculty as Assistant Professor of Philosophy
  In addition to teaching, Stauffer, who got to know the College community as a Mellon Post-Doctoral Fellow with the Hurford Humanities Center, will help shape a new academic concentration in Peace, Justice and Human Rights.
