Women's Rugby
Bryn Mawr and Haverford Women's Rugby Club
Bryn Mawr and Haverford Women's Rugby club, the Horned Toads, is a bi-college program that is open to any undergraduate woman from Bryn Mawr or Haverford. Rugby at Bryn Mawr is an exceptional sport because the vast majority of the players have never played rugby before entering college; in fact, many people have never played a team sport before joining the Horned Toads. Learning the rules and strategies of rugby is an ever-evolving process for the Toads and rookies are always welcomed with open arms. We'll teach you everything you need to know! The team plays in both the Fall and in the Spring. The fall season is the league season; the team is affiliated with the Eastern Pennsylvania Rugby Union and play other college teams. The fall season usually begins during the 2nd week of the first semester and ends at the beginning of November. The spring season begins before spring break and ends May Day weekend. Practice is Mon/Wed/Fri from 4:15-6:00. There are games and activities on Saturdays during the season.
