Getting involved with Haverford's Running Club is a great way to get physical education credit, stay in shape, meet new people, and see all the different parts of Haverford and surrounding towns! While members do not need previous running experience, the ability to go for semi-long/long distance runs (ranging from 2-5+ miles) would help. There will be a running and workout schedule for each semester, and there will be different groups to accommodate various levels of intensity.
Optional abdominal and cardio "workouts" will be open after runs, too!
Informal long distance and track meets with neighboring schools will be available to members, as will be club-sponsored racing opportunities (5ks, 10ks, etc.) in Philadelphia and other near-by locations.
