The Bi-Co Jazz Band
The BiCo Jazz Band rehearses at least once a week at BMC under the direction of Emmy award winning composer Jack Ebbert.
The BiCo Jazz Band practices year-round, culminating in performances at Bryn Mawr College and Lunt Basement at Haverford. It is open to interested instrumentalists of any skill level or experience, as long as they have an interest in jazz and can commit to coming to 10 rehearsals a semester. Rehearsals are generally held on Monday nights at Bryn Mawr.
Past repertoire includes pieces by Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Duke Jordan, Antonio Carlos Jobim, and more. We choose pieces based on students interest and all arrangements are written specifically to fit this ensemble by Jack Ebbert.
