HIC aims to encourage the Haverford College community to develop informed relationships with Israel by providing community programs which explore the following areas: Israeli culture, politics, Israel's relations with other nations, and Israel in the media. To note: HIC is an independent non-denominational student-run organization, which contends that Israel has the right to exist and to protect its sovereignty. However, HIC encompasses a wide variety of opinions, perspectives, and interests regarding Israel.
