Bi-Co Fishing Club
The fishing club is dedicated to providing the necessary equipment, instruction and transportation to anyone interested in freshwater and saltwater fishing.
The fishing club has been in existence since 2005 and has more than 30 active members, incluing students and faculty. Fishing routinely takes place in Bryn Mawr's Rhoads Pond and there are two end of semester fishing trips each school year. Smaller trips are organized throughout the semester to local fishing spots throughout eastern and central Pennsylvania. The club has recently been sponsored by "The Orvis Company" as a way to attain fishing gear at a reduced rate. The club is also in the process of becoming more involved in environmental activism related to water pollution in streams, rivers and lakes. The club is planning a year end fishing and camping trip to North Carolina's Outer Banks to go out with a bang.
