Bi-Co Equestrian Club
Walk. Trot. Canter. JUMP.
The Bi-Co Equestrian Club is a student-run organization serving the (niche market of) equestrian demands of women (and men!) at Bryn Mawr and Haverford Colleges - in spring 2009, the Equestrian Club had a total of 36 participants. Lessons - which are subsidized by Bryn Mawr - cost around $25 per hour-long group lesson and require an 8-week commitment over one semester. The Equestrian Club places riders into lesson groups of 3-5 of comparable abilities - which means that we are able to accommodate ALL levels, from beginner (walk, trot) up to advanced (walk, trot, canter, JUMP). Lessons are taught by Julie Fitzpatrick - or by one of her assistant instructors - at Willow May Farm, located about a 20-minute drive from campus in Newtown Square, PA.
