The Haverford College Cornhole Ring of Champions was founded in September of 2004 on the grounds of historic Haverford College. It was and remains Haverford's only competitive club sport which combines the skills of horseshoes and the intensity of gladiator fighting. Cornhole, originating in Cincinnati, OH, is the fastest growing (and arguably the greatest) bean bag sport. The Haverford College Cornhole Ring of Champions is the largest and most organized cornhole enthusiasts club east of the Allegheny Mountains. With the game of cornhole being confined primarily to the Midwest, Haverford College has become the root of East Coast action. The club, originally centered at Lloyd 40's, is now headquartered in Leeds, where sets are available as well at other locations around campus. Tournaments will be held when weather permits.
