The purpose of The Cigar Society of Haverford College is to introduce and educate members to the world of cigars. To provide a social setting where people of different backgrounds, with a common interest, can enjoy each other’s company. To promote the sharing of the knowledge, ideas, and thoughts of its members and non-members (speakers, guests, and friends). To create a setting where tobacco can be enjoyed in a social, educational, and responsible manner. In doing so, we hope to provide a gateway to the community through which positive interaction may occur.
