The CEO strives to keep students of Caribbean descent as well as those interested in the Caribbean educated about the history, culture, and contemporary issues of the West Indies. We propose to celebrate the struggles and victories of the varied nations that have formed this multiethnic coalition by heightening awareness of the Caribbean's social, cultural and political status. By promoting the eclectic cultures only found in the Caribbean, we can serve as a resource to the wider community, foster discussion on issues critical to regional development and be the medium through which concepts of different cultures can be exchanged.
