Bridge. Odds are your grandmother plays. But did you know that its not just for old ladies?
Indeed, many students have learned the joys of bridge right here at Haverford. Many of these folks meet every Saturday at 4pm in HCA 15 to enjoy bridge. Haverford College Bridge Club is open to all members of the community regardless of experience. Materials and instruction are provided for beginners but be prepared to play a few hands before you really get the feel of it. And, importantly, despite having no grandmothers on the membership rolls, there are freshly baked cookies every week most of the time, when someone isn't too lazy.
