Medical Disabilities
The College views a medical disability as a nontemporary medical condition that, as the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) states, "substantially limits one or more of the major life activities."
Students with a medical disability should bring this to the attention of Rick Webb, the Coordinator of Disabilities Services, if any accommodations are necessary because of the disability. Temporary medical conditions (e.g., a broken limb) which might require accommodations should be brought to the attention of the student's dean and/or Catherine Sharbaugh, the Director of Health Services.
