Off-Campus: Get RealPlayer Basic
As part of Haverford's contract with Real, you can download a full version of Real Player.
During the
install you might want to take the following actions:
- We recommend only adding a desktop shortcut for
Real Player when you select the program location
and desktop settings.
- We recommend that you choose the media types you
want Real to play. When the installtion process asks you to make
Real Player your univsersal media player for things like CDs, MP3s, and other
media types. Windows user can choose file types by selecting the radio button for "select
media types from a list."
- You may be asked to install Desktop Weather Channel as part
of the installation, we recommend that you do not install Desktop
Weather Channel.
- Windows users should select Basic Set-up options.
That way, you won't have to pay for Real.
- Windows users will be asked to enter personal information
as part of product registration. If you do not wish to send Real
your personal information, you may cancel set-up and accept default settings
for your player and no mailings from Real.
