THE CENTER FOR PEACE AND GLOBAL
CITIZENSHIP: HAVERFORD HOUSE FELLOWS 2006-2007
July marks the beginning of the fifth year of the
Haverford House Program. The program, run by the Center for Peace
and Global Citizenship, provides a venue for the Haverford community
to explore global citizenship in our own region and to strengthen
connections between the College and the city of Philadelphia. Haverford
House provides room, board, health insurance, a transportation subsidy,
and a small stipend to seven recent Haverford alumnae/i who share
a large Victorian house in the Spruce Hill neighborhood of West
Philadelphia. We proudly announce our new Fellows along with their
host agencies:
Leah Gold, biology major: Maternity Cares Coalition
in Center City.
Elsa Noterman, political science major: Northwest
High School for Peace and Social Justice in Mount Airy.
Stephanie Rudolph, psychology major: Community

Angela McCole, English Major: Anti-Defamation League
