HAVERFORD MOVES UP IN LATEST U.S. NEWS & WORLD REPORT RANKINGS

Haverford College is #8 in the 2006 U.S. News & World Report rankings of liberal arts colleges, released Friday, Aug. 19. Also ranked at #8 is Middlebury College.

Last year, Haverford was ranked 9th, tied with Wesleyan.

Haverford is also listed as a best value among liberal arts colleges.

Haverford is also ranked #7 in a newly created guide by Washington Monthly.
