HAVERFORD WELCOMES NEW DIRECTOR
OF ALUMNI RELATIONS
I am very pleased to announce that Katie Alwart has
joined Haverford College as the new Director of Alumni Relations.
Katie earned an Ed.M. from Harvard University in 2003, and has been
working as an Associate Director at the University of Pennsylvania
in Alumni Relations. While at Penn, Katie worked on the reunion
program running the 10th, 15th, 50th, and 55th reunions. Katie also
produced the annual Penn Reunion Leadership Conference and coordinated
alumni relations materials with their communications department.
As the Director of Alumni Relations, Katie will manage
the regional volunteer network along with other members of the Alumni
Office staff, work with the Alumni Association Executive Committee,
and oversee programming for Alumni Weekend and other alumni events.
