$150,000 Challenge for the Classes of 1995–2003
Time is running out for members of the Classes of 1995–2003 to participate in the Be Haverfordian $150,000 Challenge by making a gift to the Annual Fund before the year ends. Your gift through December 31 will count toward the collective total which will ultimately be matched with an additional $150,000 from a member of the Board of Managers if the challenge is met in time. See how your class is doing and make your own gift today.
Parent Giving Challenge
The Parent Leadership Council encourages parents to join The 1833 Society through a leadership gift to the Parent Fund. Gifts of $1,833 or more will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Council.
Already a member of The 1833 Society? The Council thanks you and will also match dollar-for-dollar any increased gift from current 1833 Society parents. There’s no better time to make a gift to Haverford than right now!
IRA Rollover Opportunity
Time is running out to take advantage of the extended IRA Rollover provision. If you are age 70½ or older, you can now make a charitable gift to Haverford directly from your IRA without having to pay income tax on the distribution. This incentive is available only through December 31, 2013. A charitable distribution from your IRA can make a very positive impact on your tax return while preserving the Haverford experience for students today and in the future.
Show your support for Haverford
Support from alumni, parents, and friends through the Annual Fund helps Haverford retain its reputation as a premiere liberal arts college, one that offers students a broad-based education and a strong sense of community. December 31 is the last day to make a gift and receive a tax deduction in 2013. Please make your gift today.
