Associate Professor Maris Gillette Receives Grant to Participate in a National Science Foundation Course.

Associate Professor Maris Gillette recently received a grant to participate in a National Science Foundation course entitled "Systematic Techniques For Gathering And Analyzing Video Data." Offered in the summer of 2008, the course brings together anthropologists from institutions across the country to learn new field methodologies and techniques of visual analysis. Gillette will use the course to help her design her new course in Visual Anthropology (A207), and support her research as a visual ethnographer and filmmaker.
