Video Workshops for Faculty, Students, Staff, and the General Public

The Hurford Center for the Arts and Humanities at Haverford College is pleased to sponsor a documentary video workshop for the general public and Haverford faculty, staff, and students, taught by documentary filmmaker and Artist in Residence Vicky Funari.
This three-session workshop offers training in the basics of documentary production. We invite you to explore the documentary medium in whatever way inspires you: as part of your teaching or research, in your creative practice, or as a form of community work.
Each person must commit to attending all three workshop sessions and to spending time outside of the sessions planning, shooting, and editing their films during October and November. No prior film/video experience required. All equipment provided by the college and there is no cost to participate. Enrollment is limited to 15.
Session 1: Saturday, September 28, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Session 2: Saturday, November 2, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Session 3: Wednesday, December 4, 7 p.m.-10 p.m.
