#11 Volleyball Improves to 16-0 Overall with 3-0 Win Over Muhlenberg

HAVERFORD, PA - Host Haverford took just over an hour to earn its 16th-straight match victory to open the season with a 3-0 shut out (30-15, 30-15, 30-18) over visiting Centennial opponent Muhlenberg Wednesday evening. The Fords are now 16-0 overall and 2-0 in Centennial play with the win, while the Mules drop to 6-11 and 0-3, respectively.
Sophomore twins Rachel and Rebecca Salvo had 25 of Haverford's 50 team kills between the two of them. Rachel Salvo tallied 12 kills with a .500 hitting percentage along with a match-high 16 digs, while Rebecca Salvo had a match-high 13 kills with 12 digs.
Senior outside hitter Dana Mullenhard also had a .500 hitting percentage with eight kills while senior middle hitter K'Lynn Solt contributed six kills. In addition to her 43 assists, senior setter Emily Hinchcliff had seven digs and three kills.
Freshman Franny Glick posted ten digs and freshman outside hitter Kelsey Cantwell kept the Mules off-balance with her serves, contributing four service aces to the victory. Senior Iris Early also had two service aces with three digs and a kill in the match.
Haverford will look to stay undefeated Thursday as they travel to Bryn Mawr for a 7 p.m. Centennial matchup.
