Spray Notice

On Wed. April 24, 2013, the Grounds and Arboretum crews will be applying Round-up Pro in the morning hours to control the growth of annual and perennial weeds. The crews will be out 6:30-11:00 a.m. unless it is raining or there are strong winds. This is an effort to keep weeds under control.
Round-up Pro carries a "Caution" on the label, which means "harmful if inhaled or absorbed throughskin, avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing." The material will be applied with a handsprayer producing fine droplets. Once the material dries, it will be safe to enter the treated areas.
