A one year tech position is available in Noreen J. Hickok's lab in the Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology at Thomas Jefferson University. The lab does bacterial work, although there is some cell culture, and the work is applicable to someone who is interested in med school. The position starts in mid-June, so it is compatible with graduating seniors.
