The 6th Annual Haverford College Joe Schwartz '83 Memorial 3K Run/Walk will be held on Sunday, April 28. This goal of this event is to raise health and fitness awareness throughout the Haverford community while supporting ALS research. This event is open to all members of the Haverford College community, including friends and family.
NOW is the time to start your training for this exciting run/walk! In order to provide structure and incentives for your training program, there will be a 10-week training contest stationed in the Fitness Center. Starting Monday, February 18, points can be accumulated for any type of exercise, including participation in the Squirrel Boot Camp, held every Tuesday and Thursday at Noon in the GIAC Gymnasium. Log your points on the training contest poster in the Fitness Center and compete against other staff, faculty and students. Individual prizes will be awarded on race day, as will a prize for the department with the most participation, so encourage your co-workers to join you!
