Jack Schneider '02 is the Robert A. Oden Jr. Postdoctoral Fellow for Innovation in the Liberal Arts in Educational Studies at Carleton College. He holds an MA in History and a PhD in Education from Stanford University, as well as a BA in Political Science from Haverford College. Jack is a former high school teacher, having worked with students in and around Philadelphia, and is also the founder of University Paideia—a pre-college program for under served students in the San Francisco Bay Area. His research focuses on educational policymaking and school reform in the twentieth century, and he is the author of Excellence For All: How a New Breed of Reformers Is Transforming America's Public Schools.
