2012 Social Medicine Seminar Call for Applications Thinking of a career in medicine? Interested in public health? Want to engage in thoughtful discussion with fellow students? Then apply for the 2012 Social Medicine Seminar sponsored by the Center for Peace & Global Citizenship (CPGC). The seminar is led by Haverford seniors and will meet on Sunday evenings during the spring semester. The Center for Peace & Global Citizenship (CPGC) is sponsoring its eighth student-led Seminar on Social Medicine in the spring of 2012. This non-credit seminar gives students the opportunity to explore, along with a group of interested peers, a variety of cross-disciplinary perspectives on health and human rights, medical anthropology and social determinants of health. Participants will meet 5-6 times, starting in February.
