Miller Sets School Record at Princeton Invitational

2/23/08 - Mara Miller set a school record in the long jump, reaching 17-1 3/4 Saturday night.
LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. - Mara Miller of the Haverford College women's indoor track team set a school record in the long jump Saturday night at the Princeton Invitational. She jumped 17-1 3/4.
Miller also set a personal best in the 55 meter hurdles, finishing seventh at 8.85. Eliza Reiss finished sixth; she crossed the finish line in 8.80.
Christina Nielson (1:01.27) and Aileen Keogh (1:01.50) placed seventh and eighth, respectively, in the 400 meter dash. Nielson also ran in the 55 meter dash, finishing sixth at 7.62. In the 800 meter run Annick Lamar (2:17.32) and Darian Lunne (2:17.34) came in fourth and fifth, respectively. For Lunne it was a personal best.
Haverford will head to Centennial Conference Championships on Saturday and Sunday at Ursinus College.
