Women's Squash Loses Close One to F&M, 5-4
2/16/08 - The Fords picked up wins at the Nos. 6-9 spots.
LANCASTER, Pa. – The Haverford College women’s squash team lost to Franklin & Marshall, 5-4, Saturday afternoon. This was the Fords final dual match of the season.
Haverford defeated the Diplomats, 9-0, back on Nov. 17. Saturday, F&M won at the top-five spots in the lineup. Karen Lavi, Emma Bartlett, Abigail Larner and Laura Tetri picked up wins for HC.
The Fords will be in action next weekend at the Howe Cup held at Princeton University. Seedings and opening round draws for the tournament will be announced early this week. The opening round gets underway on Friday.
