
An Evening of Student Compositions

On Friday, February 22nd at 7:30 pm, the 2008 Lutton Fund Performance will present an hour-long recital of original compositions and arrangements written by musicians at Haverford and Bryn Mawr Colleges. The music includes folk arrangements for choir, a contemporary choral work based on the poetry of Emily Taber (HC '07), character pieces and art songs for piano, and a sonata for cello, oboe, and viola. Featured composers include Hannah Albrecht (BMC '08), Cassie Gafford (HC '09), Caroline Goldstein (HC '08), George Harvey (BMC '09), Simon Linn-Gerstein (HC '09), Bethany Morrow (HC ’08), Scott Muller (HC '09), and Julia Spiegelman (BMC '08). Guest performers include, though are not limited to, the Baldwin School Middle School Chorus and the Haverford College Outskirts. This event will be held in Roberts Hall, Marshall Auditorium is free and open to the public. There will be a reception following the concert.
