Dickinson Hands Haverford a Loss

The Fords shot 45.7% from the field.
2/2/08 - Despite shoting 45.7 percent, the Fords fell to the Red Devils, 75-40
CARLISLE, Pa. – Dickinson College defeated Haverford College, 75-40, Saturday afternoon in Centennial Conference.
Brooke Muller led all scorers with 16 points. Kay Binetti netted 11 points for Dickinson (12-6, 10-2 CC). The Red Devils shot 52.5 percent from the field. Brittany Lattisaw led the Fords with 13 points and 8 rebounds. Haverford (3-16, 0-13 CC) shot 45.7 percent from the field.
Dickinson built its lead to as many as 14 points in the first half, but Haverford scored the last four points in the half for a 34-24 score at the break.
The Fords could not score a point in the first four minutes of the second half while Dickinson took its 10 point half time lead and increased it to 18. With 13:50 left in regulation, the Fords cut the deficit to 12, 42-30, but they could not come any closer. Haverford was stuck on 30 points for two minutes while Dickinson built its lead back up to 22 by this time.
Haverford travels to Washington College on Tuesday for a Centennial Conference game. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
