The Men and Women Track Teams Compete at the Muhlenberg Invitational

Darian Lunne placed first in the mile run in 5:25.91.
The women claimed eight first place finishes.
ALLENTOWN, Pa. - The men and women indoor track and field teams traveled to Allentown to compete in the Mulenberg Invitational.
The women finished first in eight events. Jessie Belden claimed first in the high jump with a height of 5-0. Mara Miller came in first in the long jump with a length of 16-7 ¼. In the running events, Christina Nelson finished first in the 200 meter dash with a time of 28.24. Darian Lunne placed first in the mile run in 5:25.91. Eliza Reiss came in first in the 55 hurdles (9.06) and Mara Miller finished first in the 55 dash (7.86). The 4x400 relay team of Belden, Caila Heyison, Lunne and Caitlin Tully came in first in 4:20.23 and the 4x1600 relay team of Lena Edelstein, Emily Letts, Heidi Bretscher and Emma Lo rounded out the first place finishes with a time of 24:20.32.
On the men’s side, Joe Awantang came in first in the shot put with a throw of 51-9. Elvis Rosdo came in second with a throw of 44-5 ½. Ben Frisbee finished first in the mile run in a time of 4:34.61 and Luke Henderson placed second with a time of 4:37.33. The 4x1600 relay team of Anders Hulleberg, Patrick Donnelly, Chris Southwick and Reilly Costigan-Humes came in first in 18:15.72.
