Welcome the Class of 2014 - July and August, 2010

You’re invited to help us welcome Haverford’s incoming freshmen at one of the many Frosh Parties being held across the country in July and August. Each summer, Haverford alumni, parents, and friends host gatherings across the country to welcome incoming freshmen to the College community. Events will be taking place in the following regions: New York City, Boston, Baltimore, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Philadelphia. Visit fords.haverford.edu for more information.

Volunteer Leadership Weekend – October 1-3, 2010

Haverford’s Office of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving invites alumni volunteers to Volunteer Leadership Weekend 2010 to be held Friday, October 1, 2010 through Sunday, October 3, 2010. This year’s summit will provide a weekend of inspiration, engagement, and motivation for volunteers who work as ambassadors for Haverford.  Members of the Annual Fund Executive Committee, Class Volunteers, Reunion Volunteers, Career Development Volunteers, and Admission Volunteers will be invited back to campus to participate in training sessions, discussions, and receptions. Invitations with complete details regarding Volunteer Leadership Weekend will be mailed in mid-August.

Family & Friends Weekend – October 29-31, 2010 Parents, grandparents, siblings and friends are invited to visit Haverford College during Family & Friends Weekend 2010 to be held Friday October 29, 2010 through Sunday, October 31, 2010. Events are planned for all three days, but guests are welcome to attend all or any part of the weekend’s activities. This occasion will provide an opportunity for guests to meet members of the College community and to engage in the unique Haverford experience. Brochures with complete details regarding Family & Friends Weekend will be mailed in early September.
