Restorative Justice Approaches to Criminal Justice

Thursdays from 12:00-5:00pm

Instructor: Barbara Toews, M.S.W

Current sophmores and juniors are encouraged to apply (freshmen will be considered).

The Center for Peace and Global Citizenship is pleased to support a course which offers an intriguing introduction to the criminal justice system and the philosophy and practice of restorative justice.

This course, offered by Independent College Programs, includes readings by theorists, researchers and practitioners as well as victimes and offenders. The course will be taught in jail with Tri-Co students and incarcerated students.

Applications must be submitted to hc-cpgc@haverford.edu by 11:59pm on Thursday, April 15.
